In 6th grade, Marta Reeder lost the vote for the superlative "Most likely to become a writer," so this Reeder retaliated by writing - everything she could, all the time. Marta found herself on the Salt Lake City stand-up comedy scene after graduating from the University of Utah in 2015, where she was featured in City Weekly's "Up and Coming Comedians." In July 2017, Marta worked with Jared Ruga and Amanda Stoddard at Vavani Productions to develop film and television scripts until October 2020. In late 2020, Marta started working independently on some of her passion projects, including Flatley 4EvR, which landed her in Stage 32’s lookbook and eventually won her the Stage 32’s 2023 Feature Fellowship. Marta is currently working on multiple projects with unnamed actors and an unnamed production company (because she's unsure if she can legally talk about them). The rest is still unwritten.
